Devs Preview New Caster Animations Coming in 7.3

When World of Warcraft is updated to v7.3 inside a couple weeks, caster characters of the races will likely be getting a completely new look...well, excluding Warlocks for your time being. The community site may be updated that has a couple of neat videos showing away from the new animations along with providing some developer insight to the hows and whys in the changes.

All Priest and Mage specs will probably be updated together with both Restoration and Elemental Shamans plus a few tweaks to Restoration Druids. Other classes (poor 'Locks...) and specs is going to be updated after a while but not soon enough for v7.3.

Players can seek out big improvements in "caster ready", "hand casting" along with the spell effects themselves. From what we've seen, however, there 's still no casting animation while holding a weapon or staff. Hopefully that could also be something coming down the street.
